Rockman X DiVE, a new Mega Man X game is coming to mobile!
Just announced today by Capcom Taiwan is Rockman X DiVE a new game coming to Android and iOS devices. The game will be released in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau regions and so far there is no release date mentioned. There is supposedly a global release version in the works, but again, no date for that either. Fingers crossed it comes shortly after the other release!
The story is about a computer system that stores all Mega Man X game data and it has been corrupted, which is why all of the characters seem to be mixed in together. Your job will be to rescue and repair this data. So far Mega Man, Zero, and Axl are known the be playable characters. Hopefully this is a precursor to Capcom announcing Mega Man X9... only time will tell.
Be sure and check out the trailer below or check out the website Capcom has set up for the new game at http://rxd.capcom.com.tw/

Maverick Hunter X: Giga Mission trailer
A new Mega Man X fan game is in the works and here is the first trailer for it. This one is a bit different than anything else we've seen and has some neat game mechanics. It is a side scroller but it has sections with two planes to fight on, you can summon assistance for larger attacks, and it uses sprites much like that found in the Mega Man Xtreme series for Game Boy Color. Did I mention one of the support characters you can summon is from the infamous Brazilian comic series Novas Aventuras de Megaman? Yeah... interesting to say the least. No word on when this game will be coming, but once it is I'll be sure to post about it.

Acid Man revealed during Tokyo Game Show!
The final Robot Master has been revealed... and it's Acid Man! He was shown off during the Tokyo Game Show in a trailer showing off somewhat of a super-cut of gameplay. With all of the Robot Masters out in the open left I don't know what else they could announce between now and the release of the game. Maybe some DLC, or hidden playable characters they haven't shown yet? Only 11 more days until the launch of the game, so hopefully you're using this time to play the demo and master the button layouts and gear usage!

Devil May Cry 5 gets a Mega Buster!
Capcom continues Rockman's 30th anniversary crossovers by continually adding something Mega Man into every game they put out this year. This time around Nero get's meganized with the Blue Bomber's Buster and from the looks of it, it kicks some serious ass. Check out the video and pics below!
From the screenshot below you can recognize the all familiar jump style... Capcom really went all out with the animations to make him just like Rock.

A fan made board game based on Battle & Chase has been made!
I came across this amazing creation today and instantly knew I had to know more so I contacted the creator for a little on the spot interview to find out more! But before we get to that... check out this amazing video he made to show it off!
Awesome right??? Now on to the interview!
MMW : First off, what is your name and where are you from? 😊
Peique : Peique EspÃndola. Peique is my nickname and I'm from Brazil.
MMW : What was your first experience with Mega Man? What inspired you to create this?
Peique : This might be a surprise but it was this year and to create this game. I wanted to create a Mega Man game because I always wanted to know more about the series. So, I started to read everything I could about the classic series and started to like it a lot. And that made me want to play the games. So I got Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and started my journey on Mega Man 1. I've played every game in order and now I'm almost finishing Mega Man 7.
MMW : Ah well perfect... you answered my next question... what inspired you to start this. lol
Peique : Hahaha awesome. There's you answer. 😆
MMW : Is this something that is going to be for sale later on or just a one off?
Peique : For the time being, it's just a one off. It was created for playing with my friends and test my game design skills.
MMW : How long did it take to create what you've done so far?
Peique : Around six months or so.
MMW : Was this all created by you or do you have a team?
Peique : No. It was just me. But a lot of friends helped with play testing.
MMW : How did you make all the tracks and player pieces?
Peique : I used computer programs like Illustrator to create the graphic part and printed. And some pieces I modeled by hand using a material called biscuit. I used it to create the cars and other pieces. I used biscuit to finish some pieces too. Making them better looking.
MMW : Is it completely finished now or what kind of things do you want to add to it in the future?
Peique : The main game is finished. But I want to add more playable characters, new tracks, new powers and new items too.
MMW : Have you thought about approaching Capcom with this? The last board game did pretty well on KickStarter and even made it into stores.
Peique : Yes. Actually I'm trying to approach Capcom with this. I'm waiting for their answer.
MMW : That's awesome news, we wish you the best of luck. Please us know however we can help you in the future, this is a project we'd love to see more of!

Mega Man : Fully Charged Trailer
The trailer has dropped from the Man of Action SDCC panel and here it is for your viewing enjoyment! Also please remember... the target audience for this cartoon is 6 - 11 year olds, not us. For a kids cartoon it looks pretty solid and should do well with their audience. Maybe someday us old fans will get a cartoon we deem worthy, but for now we'll just have to wait.
Entertainment Weekly had this to say about the shows availability :
All 10 episodes of Mega Man: Fully Charged will drop on the official Cartoon Network app (currently one of the most popular content platforms for kids in the U.S.) and various VOD and on-demand streaming platforms on Friday, Aug. 3. Those same 10 episodes will then start airing on a weekly basis every Sunday beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET/PT on Aug. 5.
