Gold Rockman 11 amiibo... only 10 made?

Update 10/4 : This is confirmed now by Capcom Japan in the link below.  Hopefully they'll make more after this competition is over...

I can't find any info on this other than one tweet from Reploid 21XX... but apparently there's a golden version of the new amiibo and they only made 10.  WTF Japan!?  They're supposedly giving them away in a raffle to Mega Man 11 owners who register the game with them... so unless you live in Japan and are EXTREMELY lucky, we're all out of luck this time around.  😭  Japan sure is obsessed with gold lately...

Pictures of the Mega Man 11 : Amiibo Edition packaging!

Thanks to an awesome GameStop employee, we get to see what the Amiibo Edition packaging looks like for the first time!  Luckily for those of you that like display boxes, it's almost like the first Amiibo edition game in that you can see the Amiibo through a display window so it's perfect for collectors that want to leave the box sealed.  Check out shots of the packaging from every side below!

Mega Man 11 amiibo details!

Thanks to the Nintendo Direct stream earlier this evening we now have some of the details of what the Mega Man amiibos will do for you in game.  You can scan the amiibos in to the game once per day for an Energy Tank or other useful items.  Only the E-Tank was shown, so the other items mentioned remain a mystery.  Maybe just the usual power-ups?  Maybe some rarer items like the StarForce costume?  Only time will tell... but I'll report back if any more info arises.
