Mega Man Zero / ZX Legacy Collection coming next year!

The moment you patient Mega Man Zero fans have been waiting for is finally happening!  All 6 games from the Zero and ZX collection are coming on one game next year.  It's slated for January 21st, 2020.  The new legacy collection also brings with it some upgrades much like the other legacy collections.  These upgrades include visual as before with the different filters, and the ability to save mid level, as well as a more casual experience for beginners to help keep them alive.

At the time of this writing it is only been leaked for the PS4, but you can bet that it will also come to the XBox One, Steam, and the Nintendo Switch.  Check out the full trailer below for more info!

UPDATE : It's now verified to be coming to all the current systems by the Mega Man Twitter.

Mega Man : The Wily Wars to get a reproduction cart next year.

The retro gaming accessory company Retro-Bit announced they plan on making reproduction collector carts of the never released stateside Wily Wars game for the Sega Genesis and MegaDrive.  Mega Man : The Wily wars was only released in Japan and Europe and is highly sought after by collectors for its rarity.  A complete and genuine (lots of fakes out there) copy easily reach $400+ on eBay regularly, so this coming out will get the game into more hands.  For those that have never played it, it is a compilation game consisting of remakes of Mega Man, Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 3 and an exclusive game mode called "Wily Tower" once all games are defeated.

No exact date is confirmed at this time, but it is said it will most likely come out in Q1 2020, but check out their announcement tweet below.

A new fan game just entered in its Beta stage. Likely inspired by the late Mario Royale, JannyWare has been working on Mega Man Royale, and it is now in its Beta release!
Follow them on Twitter for updates: https://twitter.com/jannyware/

To play, all you need is a web browser. Go to http://megamanroyale.com/, type in your name and enter the lobby! There you can try out your controls and battle it out with other players in a safe environment. Mark yourself as ready, wait for your competitors to as well, and you can just start!

As soon as you start, you will be thrown into one of the most classic Mega Man stages. You start with only your Buster and Rush Coil, but enemies will drop weapons randomly. Make it through the stage as fast as you can, and brag about being faster than anyone else!

Mega Man live action movie most likely cancelled.

Disney announced that Fox would be cancelling most of it's productions that were planned due to the studio posting a $170 million loss in the fiscal 3rd quarter.  A large part of that loss being the giant flop from the recent movie Dark Phoenix.  This almost pretty much guarantees the Mega Man movie is going to never see the light of day anytime soon, or ever.  This will come to a relief of many who knew it would be horrible if it came to light, and a disappointment to those who truly wanted to see what could happen.  Maybe some day we'll get a movie we deserve, but for now that day isn't coming any time soon.
