I've covered about this a little before but now the time has finally and we get to see it in all its painted glory!  This 1/4 scale resin statue goes up for pre-order this coming Friday!  No word on the smaller PVC version yet, but I'm sure it will be mentioned in the pre-launch livestream as well as the price for both.  Stay tuned!

Mega Man : The Wily Wars to get a reproduction cart next year.

The retro gaming accessory company Retro-Bit announced they plan on making reproduction collector carts of the never released stateside Wily Wars game for the Sega Genesis and MegaDrive.  Mega Man : The Wily wars was only released in Japan and Europe and is highly sought after by collectors for its rarity.  A complete and genuine (lots of fakes out there) copy easily reach $400+ on eBay regularly, so this coming out will get the game into more hands.  For those that have never played it, it is a compilation game consisting of remakes of Mega Man, Mega Man 2, and Mega Man 3 and an exclusive game mode called "Wily Tower" once all games are defeated.

No exact date is confirmed at this time, but it is said it will most likely come out in Q1 2020, but check out their announcement tweet below.

Only physically released in Japan and Europe, we are bringing #MegaMan Wily Wars to North America for both #Genesis & #MegaDrive -- Get ready for a collector's edition that includes many extras! 🌟

First 4 Figures needs our input for the new Zero statue!

If you haven't heard of First 4 Figures before they are an awesome collectibles company that makes video game statues and has a close relationship with its fans.  They often turn to their fans for input to help mold their future statue lines, licencors, poses, and even facial expressions for almost everything they make.  This time around they want our help in choosing the pose for their upcoming Zero statue!  This will be the 5th statue in their Mega Man lineup so far as they've already made an X, Mega Man, Protoman, and Mega Man on Item 2 statues in the past.

If you would like to vote on this poll and are a member of FaceBook please go join their collectors club and vote at the link below.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/first4figures/permalink/2042768972684160/

If you would like to help out and vote but don't want to use the official poll please vote on our social media posts and we will relay the info to their team.  I will add a temporary channel on the Discord as well to allow voting.  (www.megaman.world/discord)

Below are the proposed poses they have in mind as well as a larger view with a short description.  I'm sure the base proposals are subject to change so try to focus more on Zero's pose itself more than the overall proposal.

Choice A. : Zero with Z-Saber raised above his head standing on ruins.

Choice B. : Zero slashing the air in a battle pose with saber slash trail effects around him.  Know F4F these effects would probably be glowing on the higher end editions of the statue for a pretty cool glowing effect.

Choice C. :  This pose Zero looks like he might be mid jump coming from an exploding ground.

Choice D. : Zero looks like he's in a downward slash coming almost to a kneeling position.

Choice E. :  Zero in another big slash motion, more of a mid battle pose on what appears to be some sort of hover platform.

Mega Man item in this months Loot Gaming crate.

March's gaming crate has a "Sidekicks" theme and contains something to do with Mega Man.  Since it's a sidekick theme maybe it will be Roll, Rush, or Protoman related?  Only time will tell for now but it will most likely be a smaller item as the main franchise featured seems to be Sonic, so maybe a Sonic shirt with a Mega Man figurine?

If you'd like to get one follow the link below :

https://www.lootcrate.com/crates/gaming

Also alongside this crate is the Epic Drop which is very much Mega Man themed giving away an SNES classic, wearable helm, and the Mega Man headphones.  (and a Sonic artbook)

New Mega Man X model from Kotobukiya

Kotobukiya has recently shown a prototype model of their upcoming Mega Man X model. You can see the images in their Twitter account:

In honor of Wonder Festival Winter 2019, we're revealing the sculpt for our upcoming Megaman X for display at our booth! Stay tuned for more updates as the event unfolds! #kotobukiya #wf2019w #megamanx #megaman pic.twitter.com/f8SNfSEL0D

The first entry in our Megaman X model kit series is X! Check out these new images of the model's prototype in its full beauty! X will be available later this year. Stay tuned for updates! #kotobukiya #megaman #megamanx #wf2019w pic.twitter.com/SH9653szI2

Right now there isn't much more information about availability or price; so, be sure to keep our eyes open for it!

For those who don't know: Kotobukiya has made multiple build-it-yourself model kits of the Mega Man universe in the past: Mega Man, Roll, Proto Man and Mega Man Zero. It is still possible to find all of them floating around on the depts of the internetz if you really want them really hard. Most of them have been re-released, so, they shouldn't be that hard to find.

Now, it's speculation time!
The fact that they are releasing X and not classic (or any other) Mega Man, strongly suggests that we might see a new entry in the X series this year. CAPCOM has already confirmed that they have started discussing a new game, but has not published any more information about their timelines, which series, etc. Selling an X model kit right about the same time as the game comes out would be the best way to maximize sells. We can only hope!

The X series turns 25 tomorrow, could this new art be for X9?

A brand new illustration celebrating the 25th anniversary of Rockman X has been revealed and is said to be tied to a new product coming soon to E-Capcom in Japan.  The illustration was done by Keisuke Mizuno who you will recognize made the sleek X design that got used by TruForce Collectibles to make all those incredible action figures.  The Zero design also got used by Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, but sadly no figure was made.  This new image shows us Axl in this style as well as a little peak at Alia.  Could this new product be an art print?  New figures?  Or maybe (and this might be a stretch) the Rockman X9 reveal?  Only time will tell right now, so sit tight and we'll let you know.

Check out a video of the reveal below :

Mega Man : Fully Charged is getting a toy line!

A new toy line is emerging and a mysterious play set has appears on Amazon.  It's a Mega Buster that opens up into what appears to be Mega Mini's control room?

The product description leaves much to be desired...

Product description :
An all-new TV series, reimagined for a new generation of fans, follows the adventures of Aki light. Aki is a seemingly regular robo-kid who lives in the futuristic silicon city. However – the secret protocols in his programming can transform him into the powerful hero, Mega Man! equipped with a nano-core armor and a Mega Buster arm cannon, Mega Man is able to absorb the powers of the evil robot Masters threatening to destroy his city. He battles the Wickedest of villains – while learning to balance life as an ordinary robot and an amazing superhero. It’s Mega time!

As you can see it tells nothing about the actual toy itself.  The lone picture also seems to leave some things out at this time... as one would assume that it comes with some figures to actually use the play set.  Once more info is found I will update this page with more product pictures.  Until then the release date is set for January 1st but I doubt that's a real official release date.  The price right now is pretty high as well coming in at right around $65-$70 before shipping.

If you'd like to pre-order it, here is the link below :

The Mega Man themed denim jackets are back!

Remember those extremely rare denim jackets Volante Design made years and years ago that was sold through Capcom's website?  Probably not, but it happened and I got one for my collection.  Now they are back again, and with it is a brand new Proto Man themed jacket as well!  These jackets don't come cheap though, coming in at a cool $375.00 before shipping.  They will only ship to North American addresses as well due to the licensing agreements they made with Capcom.

Check out the pics below and if you'd like to acquire one of these follow this link :

First 4 Figures making another Mega Man statue!

First 4 Figures will be soon showing some details on their next Mega Man statue.  From the looks of things it will be a faithful replica of the Mega Man 11 style Rock and be made of PVC instead of their past few statues which were more expensive and made of resin.  Below is the teaser post by CEO Alex Davis in the First 4 Figures Official Collectors Club on FaceBook.  I'll do what I can get get more info on this as soon as I can so hang tight!

I currently own all of the First 4 Figure Mega Man related statues, but for those of you not familiar with their products, take a gander at the pictures below with links if you'd like to purchase.

New line of Funko action figures revealed!

Funko is coming out with a new line of action figures, and for once they are not their POP! figures which many collectors seem to dislike.  The release date appears to be January 22nd. and the figures will come in 4 variations (one being a Chase) and also a Dr. Wily figure as well!  The initial launch has Dr. Wily, normal blue Mega Man, Thunder Beam, and Leaf Shield with Atomic Fire being the chase of the latter.  They also include extra hands if you don't want his Mega Buster to be equipped.

If you'd like to pre-order them Click Here as they are currently up on Entertainment Earth.  It appears they are also on Amazon if you'd like to order them.

E-Capcom Exclusive, Rockman 11 : Complete Edition unboxing

Made my first unboxing video... literally zero production value, but you get the idea.  lol  It's uploading now so you may not be able to see it for a few hours, but I'll be asleep so check out the pics in the meantime and come back later for the video.  😀

The following pictures are of the Collector Amiibo edition and its main box contents.

The following pics are of the collector edition bonus item box that comes with the complete edition only.

These clear post cards were another even more limited item that only came to people that pre-ordered during the first batch.

These not included in the Complete Edition, but figured someone might like to see the collector edition History of Mega Man book / MM11 players guide.  It also comes with a limited edition and numbered lithograph.
